Course Duration:

• 1 day for experienced operators
• 2 days for inexperienced operators

Course Objectives

To give candidates the knowledge to erect and dismantle mobile towers safely in accordance with the statuary regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions.

Award

Successful candidates will receive a SOLAS CSCS card and a FETAC/QQI certificate.

Venue

The venue must have an adequately sized classroom for all candidates to complete the theory section of the course and a safely cordoned off area of adequate size for the practical assessment.

Candidate experience

All candidates for the one day course must have 6 months experience of working with mobile towers and this must be endorsed by their employer. They must also have an up to date Safe Pass card

No experience is required for the 2 day course
