Objectives:
At the end of this course, candidates will be able to define what a confined space is and recognise the dangers associated with it. Candidates will be aware of their own responsibilities when they enter a confined space. Candidates will also understand the workings of a Gas Monitor, and the importance of the door person’s duties.
Candidate Profile:
Anyone who has to enter a confined space for inspection purposes or to carry out specific work in a LOW RISK CATEGORY confined space. PLEASE NOTE, THIS COURSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TO WEAR RESCUE DEVICES OR BREATHING APPARATUS IN THE CONFINED SPACE. A LONGER AND MORE SPECIFIC COURSE WILL BE REQUIRED.
Award: Candidates will be given a certificate from S.O.S. Training
